Principled Chiropractic Association: Designing a Digital Platform for a Purpose-Driven Organization
The Principled Chiropractic Association (PCA) is a national membership organization committed to preserving and promoting the core principles of chiropractic care. Focused on subluxation-centered chiropractic without compromise, PCA serves as a resource, community, and advocacy platform for chiropractors who share this philosophy. When they came to us, they had a vision—but not the infrastructure. They needed a website that could serve as both an information hub and a central point for member activity, communication, and growth.
The Challenge
Unlike most business websites, the PCA project wasn’t about selling a service or product—it was about organizing a community and supporting a mission. The previous site was minimal and lacked the depth needed to serve members effectively or attract new ones. There was no intuitive way to join the association, little search visibility, and very limited support for publishing content, resources, or events. Most of all, the messaging and design didn’t reflect the conviction and clarity that define the PCA’s mission. This wasn’t just a redesign—it was about building a tool the organization could use every day to strengthen its voice and grow its base.
The Approach
We started with deep discovery to understand the audience: chiropractors who care deeply about principled care, and who are looking for an organization that aligns with that value system. From there, we created a site architecture that prioritized clarity, purpose, and ease of use. The new website design focused on strong typographic hierarchy, clear navigation, and a brand style that felt both serious and welcoming. As part of our website development services, we built out key pages for membership, events, educational resources, and a growing library of articles that PCA could manage internally.
Once the design and structure were in place, we implemented a foundational layer of SEO strategy—not just to drive general traffic, but to help PCA appear in front of chiropractors actively searching for associations, community, or continuing education. We optimized metadata, structured URLs, and ensured fast performance across devices. The content was written and organized in a way that reinforced the association’s voice while also improving search relevance.
Today, PCA’s site serves as a real operational platform. Chiropractors can learn about the association, join, read updates, and engage with content in a way that wasn’t possible before. The organization now has a digital home that supports its long-term mission and makes it easier to grow its membership while staying true to its values.
